About me
Academic and business editor
My academic clients need to know their work is styled consistently and correctly, as well as being grammatically sound and easy to follow. References often need to be checked, as well as formatting and basic facts (e.g. names, dates, amounts). Business clients might want their document to be written in plain English, or in a way that calls their readers to action.

Whatever is required, I provide professional editorial support; helpful and friendly comments designed to forge a connection between editor and client; and emotional intelligence, empathy, and a collaborative spirit.

And a bit about me, the person
When I left St John's College in 2009, I also created The Sanctuary Angels, a voluntary organisation that raises awareness and funds for animals and their rescuers around the world. You can read about our work here. And I have three beautiful fur children (rescue cats): Martha, Pablo Pete, and Huey Bee.
I spend a lot of time power walking and cardio dancing, which are excellent mood boosters. And I've discovered that I love taking photos: of trees, rivers, flowers, wildlife, and beautiful buildings. My favourite languages are Latin and Italian, both of which I have been learning since school, followed closely by Spanish and French.
I'm also partial to a train ride, where there's no road rage, malfunctioning navigation systems, or potholes. Just time to watch the world go by and have random conversations with total strangers – or read a good book.
