About me
Academic and business editor
Many of my clients lack confidence in their writing. For many of them, English is not their first language. I tell them if I could write and speak another language as well as they do, I would be delighted.
But I understand how they feel. Writing is scary, especially if you're not doing it in your native tongue. Add to that the fact you're trying to get published in a prestigious journal. No wonder you feel intimidated.
And that's where I come in. I offer my clients three things: professional and timely editorial support; writing and grammar tips for clear, concise writing; and, importantly, empathy and moral support. We work as a team, making sure your writing is clean and clear and ready to be published.

And a bit about me
When I went freelance in 2009, I also created The Sanctuary Angels, a voluntary organisation that raises awareness and funds for animals and their rescuers around the world. Together with my amazing team of volunteers, I have raised more than £100,000 for animal rescue. Read about our work here: www.thesanctuaryangels.com. And I have three rescue cats: Martha, Pablo Pete and Huey Bee.
When I'm not editing or helping animals, I love power walking, cardio dancing and forest bathing. Taking photos of nature is the perfect way for a word nerd to relax and tap into another type of creativity. I also love languages, films and reading. And I'm partial to train travel and city breaks. Who doesn't love the Eurostar?
