COPYWRITING

WHAT IS COPYWRITING?

Copywriting is writing copy (text) for the purpose of advertising or marketing a product, business, person, opinion or idea. The reader of the copy should be persuaded to buy the product or service advertised or to subscribe to the viewpoint shared in the text.

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

As Publications Officer at St John's College, I created the copy for publications such as Johnian News and The Eagle. This involved project management, commissioning articles, copywriting, copy-editing and proofreading, overseeing the content creation from start to finish. I also worked freelance for international animal charity FOUR PAWS, creating copy for their press releases, website, letters and social media pages.

I create most of the content for The Sanctuary Angels, a small voluntary organisation that raises vital funds and awareness for animals. I create and update all of the copy for our website and campaigns and I share the copywriting for our Facebook page (@thesanctuaryangels) with a small admin team. Finally, if it's grammar tips, life hacks and business insights that you want, I've got you covered with my blogs and my regular LinkedIn posts.
